Proper Eats Food Hall Opens at ARIA Resort & Casino
Proper Eats Food Hall, located on the second level promenade of ARIA Resort & Casino held a special grand opening media event on the evening of Thursday, February 23. I, along, with several of my colleagues were invited to experience this new concept and sample a variety of dishes and cocktails from the variety of food vendors. We also paid a visit to Easy’s Cocktail Lounge, a sultry new speakeasy situated behind Easy Donuts, where we were treated to musical entertainment from the recessed performance stage and specialty “show stopping” cocktails including the inventive Shroomin’, Smoke Show, and Heart of the Ocean.
Proper Eats Food Hall features a collection of sought-after imports from around the globe that include culinary offerings from celebrity Chef Judy Joo’s first Seoul Bird out of London, built on the foundations of Korean cooking and flavors; Chef Michael Kasser’s Wexler’s Deli out of Los Angeles, famous for its old-school Jewish deli classics; world-renowned DJ Steve Aoki’s Pizzaoki, a delicious take on New York-style pizzas; Portland; Oregon’s favorite Mediterranean hotspot, Shalom Y’all; New York’s breakfast-centric Egghead, and Lola’s Burgers, serving crave-worthy burgers created from special family recipes, each opening for the first time outside of their native cities. Additionally, several of Proper Eats’ concepts were created by industry trendsetter Clique Hospitality, including the company’s newly created sushi concept, Temaki, serving fresh, innovative hand rolls and other traditional sushi dishes, along with Easy Donuts, Proper Bar and Laughing Buddha.

Renowned Italian Designer Allissandro Munge of Toronto based Studio Munge, has created a stunning architectural design for the elevated food hall that spans 24,000 square feet, with distinctive design and furnishings reflecting the personality of each concept. Welcoming guests into the space, a luminous curvilinear trellis canopy hangs above Proper Bar, accentuating the stylish setting that has become a vibrant social hub within ARIA to meet for cocktails.
